Client Guide · Version 1.0

How
credits work.

A flexible production system that gives you structure without rigid quotas. One monthly balance. You decide how to spend it. We handle the math.

01 What Is a Credit

A flexible unit
of production.

Instead of locking you into a specific number of shoot hours or a fixed quota of videos, credits let you decide what you need, when you need it. Think of it as a gift card for content production. You get a monthly balance, and you spend it however makes sense that month.

One month you might need

A big shoot day.

  • Full-day on-site production
  • Large batch of cinematic photos
  • B-roll library for the quarter
  • All under one monthly balance
The next month you might need

Five short videos.

  • Reels, Shorts, TikToks
  • A promotional carousel
  • A quick photo refresh
  • Same balance, different mix
03 Monthly Allotment

Your balance
by stack.

Your retainer includes a set number of credits each month based on the stack you selected. Credits refresh on the 1st of every month.

Credits reset on the 1st of every month. Up to 25% of unused credits roll into the next month. See the rollover policy below.
04 A Real Example

What a month
actually looks like.

Here is how a Growth Stack client might spend their 20 credits across a single month. Fully mixed across video, photo, and graphics. No "we only shot X hours" conversations.

Growth Stack · 20 Credits / Month
Total Spent: 20 Credits
Week Deliverable Credits
Week 1 Half-day on-site shoot, 4 hours 4.0
Week 2 3 short-form videos, 30 seconds each 3.0
Week 2 Photo batch, 25 edited finals 1.0
Week 3 2 short-form videos, 60 seconds each 2.5
Week 3 Promotional carousel 1.5
Week 4 Full-day on-site shoot, 8 hours 8.0
Total Mixed video, photo, and graphics output 20.0
05 The Fine Print

What credits
cover, and don't.

Credits cover the production side of your retainer. Strategy, account management, and posting stay separate and are included flat every month.

A

Included in Retainer

These never count against your credit balance. They come with every retainer, every month.

  • Account management and strategy
  • Community management (DMs, comments)
  • Platform posting and scheduling
  • Monthly strategy call
  • Performance reporting
B

Rollover, 25% Max

Up to 25% of unused credits roll into the following month. Example: Growth stack, used 14 of 20 in March. 5 credits roll to April (25% of 20), 1 forfeits. April starts at 25 available.

Rollover credits expire at the end of the following month.

If You Need More

Run out mid-month? Two options. Overage credits are billed on-demand at a slightly higher rate, added to your next invoice. Or upgrade your stack, which we'll flag for you if it's the right move.

You'll always get a WhatsApp heads-up before any overage is triggered.

Always Visible

Your credit balance lives in two places, so you never guess. The client portal updates every 2 hours. Your monthly report itemizes every credit spent, what rolled over, and what's coming next month.

  • Portal at 44social.co/clients/[yourname]
  • Monthly performance report
06 Policies

Scheduling
and timing.

Two policies worth knowing up front. Cancellation protects both sides when plans change. Rush fees accommodate urgent needs without eating your credit balance.

07 Quick Reference

Frequently
asked.

The questions that come up most. If yours isn't here, reach out and we'll answer it directly.

Can I change my credit allotment?
Yes. Stack upgrades or downgrades require 30 days' written notice and take effect on the next billing cycle.
Do unused credits ever convert to cash or discounts?
No. Credits are for production only and cannot be converted to cash, refunded, or applied to other services.
What if I don't use any credits one month?
Up to 25% of your allotment rolls to the next month. Beyond that, unused credits expire.
How do I request a credit-based deliverable?
Same way you always have. Submit requests through your Notion content pipeline or message your account lead. We handle the credit math. You just tell us what you need.
Will I get a warning before credits run out?
Yes. Your portal shows real-time balance, and we flag low balances proactively during your strategy call or via WhatsApp if you're approaching zero before month-end.
Can I pause my retainer and bank credits?
No. Credits are tied to active retainers and follow the monthly rollover rules. Retainers can be paused with 30 days' notice, but credits do not accumulate during pauses.
What happens to my credits if I upgrade mid-month?
When you upgrade, the new allotment kicks in on the next 1st of the month. We prorate any additional credits needed in the current month at the new rate.

Flexibility
without chaos.

Credits exist to give you structure that bends with the month in front of you. Predictable monthly cost, predictable monthly capacity, and nobody spending time arguing over whether a shoot day was 3 hours or 4. You focus on what content your business needs. We focus on making it.
